Sierra Macintosh User Group Meeting at Murphys Library
ANOTHER YEAR OF APPLE HELP
The Sierra Macintosh Users Group (SMUG) will start another year of helping members get the most out of their Apple products when it holds its monthly meeting, Tuesday, February 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the community room of the Murphys Library, 480 Park Lane, adjacent to Murphys Park.
Because of iffy weather conditions in higher elevations, SMUG moves its meeting site from its regular Arnold location to Murphys for the winter months.
Members of the SMUG board will be on hand to answer a multitude of questions.
“There is no such thing as a dumb question,” states SMUG President Dick Cross. “We are all learning and members are encouraged to ask.”
SMUG meetings are designed for dues-paying members but anyone is welcome to attend to see if they would like to join the group. SMUG was founded in 1995 and is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers. It usually meets the second Tuesday of the month. Annual dues are $20 for an individual or couple payable at the first of the year.
The organization exists to keep Apple users abreast of the latest developments and to address the nagging questions that arise from time to time. Its goal is to take the mystery out of computers and to enable members to take advantage of all the features their Mac products possess.
