With Murphys Irish Day 2018 around the corner, the BIG PUSH to round “Road Closure Greeter Volunteers” has begun, and I need your help, as the MBA Volunteer Coordinator, in getting the word out and about!

Being that Irish Day falls on St. Patrick’s Day this year, we are in need of 100 volunteers to be stationed at the various road closures throughout downtown Murphys. We truly want this day-long event to be a success, and having plenty of road closure volunteers at each barricade, makes the event run smoothly throughout the day.

The Road Closure Greeter Volunteers are an essential piece of the Irish Day event! Volunteers are stationed at specific road closure barricades to keep car traffic away and rerouted from Main Street, and at the same time, greet and guide event goer’s coming and going from Main Street with a smile.

Volunteers can choose their street location and for one or more, 1.5 hour shifts that begin at 7am and end at 7pm. And for each shift a volunteer completes, they will receive (1) FREE Raffle Ticket to enter the Trip to Ireland and many more great raffle prizes!

In addition, all volunteers will be invited to the MBA Volunteer Thank You Party at the Murphys Hotel on Thursday, March 22nd, 2018. Good times all around!

With gratitude and appreciation!
