As any member or frequent visitor to Murphys and our events knows, it takes a village to put on an event in a small town.  Would you like to help make this year’s Murphys Irish Day, taking place on March 18th, 2023, the best that it can be and get that satisfying feeling of being part of things?  We can always use your help.

Update:  We are particularly in need of volunteers to help late in the day; please consider signing up to volunteer at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040b4faaab2ea1fc1-2023#/

If you have more time than money or just want to meet people and participate in the festivities, consider signing up to work the event day.  You’ll be helping greet & orient people, keeping the event area clean, organizing the parade line-up, or helping make some other event pieces run smoothly.  We’ll invite you to our volunteer party at Newsome Harlow and shower you with compliments.  Unfortunately, we won’t have the raffle this year, so we can’t give you a raffle ticket, but we will be raffling off other prizes at the volunteer party.  You’ll earn our gratitude and have a chance to meet a lot of other fun, community-minded people.  You can select your spot and sign up here.  Don’t see anything quite perfect for you, let us know about your unique skills and how you’d like to help by emailing us at info@visitmurphys.com.

If you have more money than time, consider being a sponsor of the event or just making a donation.  Irish Day is a costly event to put on, and your contributions help pay for all the necessary logistics (street closures, security, portapotties, clean-up, etc) and, most importantly, entertainers! Take a look at the sponsorship levels and pick the one that’s comfortable for you.

Have ideas of how we could help improve the event…there’s still time to share your thoughts.  Just email us at info@visitmurphys.com.

Thank you, everybody!
