Twenty-one years ago. Gail and John Kautz created Concours d’Elegance. Farmers and vintners, they envisioned an event that would benefit young people involved in agriculture, notably 4-H Clubs, Future Farmers of America and the California State Fair Scholarship Fund. From that initial idea, The Ironstone Concours d’Elegance Foundation has raised more than $700,000 since inception. In 2013, through the proceeds of Concours d’Elegance, a $130,000 pledge was completed to assist in the development of the Future Farmers of America State Headquarters Building in Galt, California.
