Join us for our bi-monthly meeting! We are experimenting with a new meeting schedule and will be meeting on the first Thursday of the following months for the rest of 2023: April, June, August, October, and our December meeting will be our traditional tree trimming party. We’ll be filling in with mixers for our members on Thursday evenings over the warmer months. Of course, event planning committees, the board, and other sub-groups will be meeting during this time and you are always welcome to attend those meetings.

The Murphys Business Association meets on the first Thursday of roughly alternating months at 8:30 am to discuss topics of interest to local business owners.  All interested persons are welcome to attend our meetings.  If you have a topic you’d like to see added to the agenda, please e-mail us at info@visitmurphys.com at least ten days in advance of our meeting so we can make sure to make time for you.

The Murphys Business Association is the organizer of Murphys Irish Day, Murphys Dia de Los Muertos, and Murphys Open House celebrations.  Those events will be the primary topic of discussion at the monthly meetings preceding and following the event.  Anybody who would like to participate in the planning of events or would like to share ideas should consider attending an event committee planning meeting.  Please e-mail us to find out when and where our planning committees will be meeting next.

Please note that the first meeting in December each year is a tree decorating party. 

Depending on the year, our January meeting may be canceled or rescheduled due to conflicts with the New Years’ holiday.  E-mail us to confirm we will be meeting – we won’t be in 2023! Business owners and staff may sign up for our weekly member e-mail to be reminded of meetings and receive other information of interest. Members of the Business Association may join our private Facebook group where we post information that may be of interest to business owners, and you may talk among yourselves about anything going on.
