MANY EVENTS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED OR CANCELED DUE TO THE CURRENT Covid-19 GUIDELINES
The health and well-being of our community is our priority. Murphys is currently in the Purple or Widespread tier of the blueprint for a safer economy, but that can change at any time and many events have been postponed or canceled. For 2020, the Murphys Downtown Witch Walk, Murphys Day of the Dead, Gold Rush Street Faire (in conjunction with Grape Stomp), Music in the Park, First Fridays in the Park for July, Ironstone 4th of July Fireworks, and many smaller Murphys based events were canceled. Others, such as the Calaveras Grape Stomp and Rotary Shrimp Feed, were modified to become virtual or drive-thru events. The traditional First Friday in December, Annual Murphys Open House Parade and Celebration has formally been canceled for 2020. It is anticipated that additional postponements and cancelations will occur during the early months of 2021.
Please contact the individual event hosts for information on the status of previously planned events!
