You and your party (of up to six persons) will spend the day (during the summer of 2018) with a guide and four miniature donkeys on a leisurely hike to one of our beautiful alpine lakes. Along the way, the donkeys will carry all the food and drink and you will stop several times for wine tasting and food parings conducted by a local winemaker. At the lake, you will have an opportunity to kayak before being taken back to Murphys.  You and your party (of up to six persons) will then spend the night in Murphys and enjoy a breakfast in town. Some limitations may apply.

Half Ass Adventures is a new business here in Murphys, CA, with their Grand Opening coming in January 2018. Based from a small farm, they have four miniature donkeys and two alpacas which will be used for making their guest’s adventures less burdened. Half-Ass Adventures will offer family-friendly packages, including hiking, camping, kayaking, and gold-panning during the summer, as well as snowshoeing in the winter. Their wish is to provide an entertaining, light-hearted and relaxed experience, allowing the average person to see what the High Sierra has to offer.
