2018 Murphys Dia de los Muertos
Murphys’ merchants, restaurants and tasting rooms will be celebrating our Eighth Annual Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, on November 3rd, 2018 from 11-6 pm.
Participating businesses and vendors will be offering authentic cultural art, food, sugar skulls, face painting, and live music, as well as displaying ofrendas (altars) celebrating the lives of those who have passed on but are with us in heart and spirit on the Day of the Dead.
The Park will also feature a community altar where you will be welcome to add your items remembering loved ones from your past.
There will be food available for purchase as well as free live entertainment in the Park.
We’ll once again include a Catrina and Catrin Dress Contest on Saturday afternoon followed by Storytelling, Mexican hot chocolate and pan de muertos in the Community Park.
Celebrate the Day of the Dead in the Land of the Skulls this year!
