Murphys Dia de los Muertos – Come celebrate the Day of the Dead in the Land of the Skulls on the first Saturday in November from 11 am to 6 pm – Take our self-guided tour of Ofrendas, enjoy traditional music & dancers, shop food and craft vendors in the Park, and maybe even compete in the Catrin and Catrina Contests at 4:30 pm.

All of those who wish to participate in the Catrin and Catrina contest must be signed up before 2 pm.  Stop by our table in the Park to sign up.

Stay for traditional stories, hot chocolate and pan de Muertos in the Park at 5:30 pm.

There will also be a contest for our younger Catrins and Catrinas at 2 pm (no need to register in advance) and traditional dancing lessons for the young and young at heart in the Native Sons Hall at 2:30 pm.

Visit the House on Main to see their extensive collection of Day of the Dead decorations.

Stop by the Murphys Pourhouse to see their Day of the Dead Art Show featuring local artist Breanna Elysse.

Take a trip to the beautiful grounds of Ironstone Vineyards to see their altar and enjoy a special lunch menu.  Stop in at the Twisted Oak Tasting Room and hear all about the ghost to whom they have dedicated their altar.

Add your remembrances to our Community Altar in the Park honoring those who have left us but are here with us in heart and spirit on this day.
