October 27, 2017 – 2nd Annual Downtown Murphys Witch Walk – Eat Drink & Shop from 5-9pm – Raffle prizes for best hat, broom & costume – Live Music at 8pm at the Lucky Penny Public House – Visit facebook.com/MurphysWitchWalk/ for all the details.

November 4, 2017 – Murphys Dia de los Muertos – Come celebrate the Day of the Dead in the Land of the Skulls – Take our self-guided tour of the Ofrendas, enjoy traditional music, food and vendors in the Park, compete in the Catrina Contest and take part in the Procession to the Cemetery.

December 1, 2017 – Murphys Open House – Come for the parade and stay to shop, visit with neighbors and share your secret wishes with Santa.  Main Street will be closed to traffic so the whole family can enjoy the carolers and firepits.  Tasting Rooms throughout the County will be celebrating their Holiday Festival of Wines throughout the weekend.

March 17, 2018 – Murphys Irish Day – Join us on the third Saturday in March to celebrate Murphys Irish Heritage with us.  We close Main Street to traffic and the line the street with vendors and entertainment.  And, of course, our local shops, restaurants and tasting rooms will all be open.  The parade, led by St. Patrick this year, begins at 11 am. Get your lodging booked early as this is a very popular event.  You’ll want to get here early to secure your spot along the parade route and maybe enjoy the pancake breakfast at the First Congregational Church just off Main Street.  Parking is very limited and we encourage you to park on the beautiful grounds of Ironstone Vineyards and take our free shuttle into town.  The daffodil show will be taking place at Ironstone that day so you might want to taste some wine and admire the flowers while you’re here.

October 6, 2018 – 25th Annual Calaveras Grape Stomp and Gold Rush Street FaireShop the vendors and businesses on Main Street, cheer your favorite stomping teams, taste our local wines and stay for dinner or music!
