For nearly two decades as winemaker of Four Winds Cellars (formerly Laraine Winery), John Gibson has created some of the most exciting and innovative wines this region has seen. A veteran winemaker with over three decades experience in the Napa Valley, including twelve years at the renowned Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, John has combined his skillful use of Calaveras fruit with his own Napa style to produce wines which have earned widespread acclaim throughout the industry.

We invite you to visit our Historic Tasting Room located in the original 1880 ranch house on the Gerber Vineyard 350 acre estate. As you enter our winery tasting room, an upscale retail area greets you with a wide selection of one-of-a-kind gift items, as well as gourmet food products and wine related merchandise.
