Monthly meeting of the Western Sierra Celtic Society, which is a non-profit organization that promotes the culture, music and history of Ireland and Scotland. Members do not need to have Irish or Scottish family ancestry, own a kilt or live in the immediate area.

New meeting location update:

The Historic Murphys Hotel owner is allowing us to meet monthly in the hotel’s first-floor banquet room, 457 Main Street, downtown Murphys.  Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for a no-host dinner.  Drinks may be purchased during our club meeting.

Our next meeting is 7 p.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2018.  Afterward, we will meet at the Historic Murphys Hotel on the third Wednesday of each month.

Our February 21, 2018 meeting will feature a program on the life and times of Scotland’s famous 18th-century poet and songwriter, Robert Burns.
