Murphys Irish-Scottish Club Meeting

An event every month that begins at 7:00pm on day Third of the month, repeating until February 20, 2019
Monthly meeting of the Western Sierra Celtic Society, which is a non-profit organization that promotes the culture, music and history of Ireland and Scotland. Members do not need to have Irish or Scottish family ancestry, own a kilt or live in the immediate area.
Arrive before the 7 p.m. meeting and enjoy a no-host Irish meal and a pint. Each meeting will feature a program on either Irish or Scottish culture or history.
New meeting location update:
The Historic Murphys Hotel owner is allowing us to meet monthly in the hotel’s first-floor banquet room, 457 Main Street, downtown Murphys. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for a no-host dinner. Drinks may be purchased during our club meeting.
Our next meeting is 7 p.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2018. Afterward, we will meet at the Historic Murphys Hotel on the third Wednesday of each month.
Our February 21, 2018 meeting will feature a program on the life and times of Scotland’s famous 18th-century poet and songwriter, Robert Burns.
